Invigorate 08: A Northeast Youth Worker Retreat sponsored by the Metropolitan District of the CMA. Jason Ostrander, the National Director for Alliance Youth will be the speaker for the weekend. The weekend is open to anyone who works with youth in the the Northeast from lay volunteers to full time Youth pastors. We aim to provide a weekend of relaxation, fun, and spiritual renewal and will be held in beautiful Glen Spey, NY at Young Life’s Lake Champion.

When: November 14th-16th, 2008 (Friday Night through Sunday Afternoon)

Who’s invited: Any Youth Workers from Alliance Churches in the Northeast. (Districts invited include Northeastern, Metropolitan, Eastern Pennsylvania, Western Pennsylvania, Mid Atlantic, and New England)

Cost: (Before September 19th) $75.00 (After September 19th) $89.00 (Cost Includes: Meals, Lodging, Main Sessions, Worship, Seminars, Fun Activities, and a ministry resource center.)

Where: Young Life’s Lake Champion in Glen Spey, NY.

Main Sessions: The speaker for the weekend will be Jason Ostrander and Worship will be led by Joe Zernhelt.

Tentative Seminars Include: Everyday Counseling, Children’s Ministry, Short Term Missions, Ministry and Technology, Wearing a lot of Hats in Ministry, College Ministry, Women in Youth Ministry, Teaching your youth about Purity, Creative Games, How to Speak in front of large groups, Connecting kids through Worship, and Art and Worship.
